Statistics show that McKeesport has become one of the most violent cities in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.  The murder/crime rate per capita ranks among the top ten in the country.  Having lived in McKeesport all of our lives, we've witnessed the loss of many friends and family members due to violence that plagues our streets. Many of them are deceased and most of the are or have been incarcerated. 

After becoming a statistics ourselves, over several years we are determined not to allow our children, or any other child in our neighborhood follow our footsteps.  We began by doing our best with our own resources to mentor as many young people as possible. As Concerned Fathers, we've mourned with many parents who have lost a child or children.  We made a vow to ourselves and to our community that one day no kid would be left behind.

In 2015, we founded Concerned Fathers, a Non-profit (501C-3) organization, in an effort to expand the positive impact that we had on the young people in our community  The goal is to grow the program beyond the walls of McKeesport and reach kids throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
